About Us:
Wayne County HCE was founded in March 7, 1942. There are currently 37 members in four Units: Barnhill, East Cisne, Hickory Hill, and Lamard.
Wayne County Home and Community Education strives to provide and
encourage leadership, education, and volunteer opportunities for members
as well as those in the community. Education topics relevant to the home
and community are offered on a monthly basis. Members also serve their
communities through various individual and group volunteer activities.

Programming & Lessons
Wayne County HCE offers a variety of lessons. Many are developed by the University of Illinois Extension and we enlist local experts/presenters for other lessons.

Fiber Arts Crafting - second Thursday each month, 6:30 p.m., Wayne Co. Extension. Work with others to learn a new skill and/or bring your own project to work on.
